Brand description
Used to replicate everyday designs and shapes originally made of metal and wood, faience first emerged in France during the 16th century. From then onward, the shapes and motifs evolved becoming more and more intricate. Founded by Jean Loiseau in 1747, in the heart of the Sarthe River valley, Bourg-Joly Malicorne, is the oldest earthenware company still in operation in Malicorne. Relying on their savoir faire and traditional techniques, the french company has successfully built brand recognition.
