A grand classic by the "Pont aux Choux" Manufacture famous in the eighteenth century for its ivory faïence, and purchased in 1819 by Thomas Hall, the founder of the House of Gien.

The Faïencerie de Gien was created in 1821 in Gien (Val de Loire), in the heart of France. Collaborating with painters and engravers, who were invited to imagine new motifs and shapes, Gien has continuously and successfully diversified from a technical and artistic point of view. A member of the prestigious Colbert Committee, the faiencerie has also been awarded the “Living Heritage” company label.
