The Cactus sterling silver flatware collection was designed by Gundorph Albertus for Georg Jensen in 1930. The art deco elements in the Cactus cutlery pattern is simple yet defined, illustration Gundorph Albertus' award winning attention to the character of silver. This concept of new simplicity, inspired by the Art Deco movement, belonged to a group of artists who in the first half of the 20th century tried to preserve Georg Jensen's ideals while updating them to a modern time.
