David Haviland began writing his company’s rich history back in 1842. Established in Limoges, the french city that would become renowned as the capital of porcelain, he built a company that would become synonymous with french luxury. World acclaimed for his innovative eye and creative genius, David Haviland went on to obtain a gold medal at the Crystal Palace Exhibition in New York. Even saluted at the Universal exposition in Paris, he went on to create pieces and sets that would grace the tables of royal families and heads of states.
