The "Perles" sterling flatware from Christofle has a characteristic pearl decoration that has been used to adorn Christofle’s "Perles" flatware since 1890. This ornamental style is based on the famous French artistic design know as Louis Seize, a style that enjoyed great popularity about one hundred years earlier in 1790.
